With the ever-increasing demand for content on your business’s various platforms, it can feel like you are throwing words into a bottomless pit. And some days you might feel as though you are running out of ideas.
But there’s no reason why you shouldn’t be reusing old content and repurposing it for your future needs.
There are several ways you can do this. Break long blog posts up into shorter ones, or rework them as tweets, for example. If you used something on one platform only, see if you can make it work on other platforms. Reread long opinion pieces or interviews and see if you can extract some nugget from them for a short post: XX’s top tips for start-ups, for example, or 5 ways to improve your productivity.
All it takes is a willingness to look at the content with new eyes – you’ll be amazed at what pops out at you when you haven’t looked at something for a long time.
